By creating an account or using HoneyCues, you agree to these terms. They are short and written in plain language on purpose.
The service
HoneyCues is a private app for couples that turns your cycle into a playful, private signal for the two of you. HoneyCues is currently offered free of charge — these terms do not cover subscriptions or paid features, and we will update them if that changes.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use HoneyCues. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Your account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens through your account.
- Each account is for one person. Please do not share your account or let someone else use it as you.
Partner pairing and invites
HoneyCues lets you invite one partner to pair with your account so the two of you can send each other signals. You are responsible for only inviting someone who has agreed to receive it. You and your partner can unpair from within the app at any time — unpairing does not delete either person's account.
Acceptable use
When using HoneyCues, you agree not to:
- Use the app to harass, intimidate, or contact someone who has not agreed to be your paired partner.
- Impersonate another person or provide false information about yourself or your partner.
- Attempt to access another person's account or data without authorization.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app or the systems behind it.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Not medical advice
HoneyCues shows gentle, estimate-based cues about your cycle. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice or diagnoses, and is not a method of contraception or family planning. Always talk to a qualified healthcare professional for medical guidance.
Content and intellectual property
The HoneyCues app, its design, and its branding belong to us. You keep the rights to the messages and information you enter, but you allow us to process them as needed to operate the app and deliver them to your partner, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using HoneyCues, or delete your account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms or put the safety or integrity of the service at risk, with notice where reasonably possible.
Disclaimer of warranties
HoneyCues is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it accurate and running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its estimates will be precise for your particular cycle.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HoneyCues and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as HoneyCues evolves. We will update the "last updated" date above, and if a change is significant, we will let you know through the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to where we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, to the extent permitted by your local consumer protection laws.
